For GOD so loved the world that He gave is only begotten Son, that whomever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16) Jesus was born with a purpose. GOD is a god of order. Everything that is written in the bible has been given to us as an instruction on how to live in this world and what to do to so one can go to heaven.
Jesus followed the will of Father GOD. He selected 12 Jewish men as His disciples to teach them the ministry of grace, His purpose and what's to come so that they can establish the Church. Some people wondered why did Jesus choose Judas knowing that he would soon betray Him, Judas was an intricate part of GOD's plan to save the world. Each disciple chosen plan an intricate roll in GOD's plan. Each person that sees Jesus, accepts Him as LORD and savior and follows that will of GOD will too play an intricate roll in GOD's plan.
Jesus, in the last 12 hours of His life - the finale of His purpose - explain to the disciples His time has come to fulfill the scriptures. (1 Corinthians 11:22-32)

Holy Communion is a vital part of a believer's life and should not be taken if their is sin in the heart. So before taking Holy Communion you must examine yourself and repent if not your risk sinning against Christ's body and blood of Christ. The bible specifically states that this is why many Christians are weak and sickly and sleep (the bible calls death fallen asleep).

When you take Holy Communion you are acknowledging that you believe and receive in to your life that Jesus is who He says He is and what He has done to save the world. When you take Holy Communion there is no specific time or place given in the bible that is should be take but why is stated and that is to do it in remembrance of ME (Jesus). Jesus gave instructions on how to take Holy Communion. Take the bread and break it and ensure that you see that the broken bread is the body of Christ that was broken for you. When you receive the body of Christ you also receive divine health, the mind of Christ, the heart of Christ, all the characteristics of Christ, His strength, power, and authority when taken properly. When you take the cup representing Christ's blood you are receiving the remission of all your sins, all, past, present and future. You are also receiving all the power that has been given back because of Jesus' shed blood.
